My love for the color Turquoise is so big! 

It reminds me of summer and The Mediterranean.. Love.

I've been wanting to add some turquoise to my home for quiet some time, so I decide to make a mood board to pin down what I want. 

Finding the right decor for my home can be a bit challenging, because I want the right things which can reflect our personalities and at the same time unique. I have found out that colors makes me so happy, and brightens my home and my heart (even on a grey rainy day.) So I've decided that I need more colors in my home- turquoise, yellow, orange, coral and pink. Simply because these colors makes me happy and I feel relaxed. 

It's so important that when you come home, you feel home.

Fashion: Dolce & Gabbana - Italian Summer Dream

My love for Italian design has always been huge. From my early teen years I remember admiring Italian fashion.

As I've always known, Dolce & Gabbana NEVER disappoint! Season after season, collection after collection, they always amaze us with their love for Italy, and the masterpieces they create. They are always able to bring the best of Italy. This time, they have created a special collection "Portofino". And OMG!!! When I opened the Net-a-porter.com email, I feel head over my heels! The "Portofino" collection is absolutely gorgeous AND dreamy, I want every single piece from the collection. If only I could, I would hit the "buy now"...

Mom Life

It's been over a week since I've posted something, but the reason why I'm not posting so much, is because I'm spending my Summer studying and I'm super busy!! So I don't have time to do anything else! Literally. Being a mom and student, is a really hard thing and finding time to do other things can be quiet difficult sometimes. But, I've some postes coming up the next couple of days  so stay tuned :).

Summer time

Summer is over us, which, means we will be at the beach (all day!) or just wandering around and soaking up some sun.  A pair of comfy shoes is essential. I choose these three, which is comfy and will let your feet breath! They also look good with anything.
As a mommy I love a bag that can fit all what my boy needs, so a straw bag is essential in the summer time. Not only does it look good, but it does fit all what you need even if you are not a mother. ;)

Fashion: Paris Couture Week

Happy Monday :)

I'm a huge fan of fashion and have always been since I was a little girl. I remember when I looked at big beautiful couture dress, they always fascinated me. I also remember when we went to Tunisian weddings and the beautiful dress the women wore, I was always in love and inspired!
So today I thought I would share a round up of Paris Couture Week which happened last week. There were so many beautiful dress, gowns! Oh, I'm in love..

Health: Suncare for Kids

Happy Friday!
This week passed by so quickly!
Even though the weather here in Denmark is not calling for sunscreen, yet I thought I would share good sunscreen for your kids.
It can quick be challenging to find the right sunscreen for your kids, so I will try to help you :).
What you need to be careful about when buying sunscreen for your kids, is that they don't have to contain parfume. The parfume might give them allergies and a reaction.
Another important ingredient is if the sunscreen contains endocrine disrupters. Endocrine disrupters can provoke early puberty, cancer and several other things.
Last but not least, try to avoid sunscreen in a spray! They contain aerosols, what's aerosols? That's tiny drops in the air which gets down to your lunges. Who wants that?!
Here is a few sunscreens I would prefer, which is also free from all the nasties.

Selvom vejret herhjemme ikke ligefrem råber sommer, så tænkte jeg alligvel at dele hvilke solcremer er bedst for jeres børn.
Det kan hurtigt blive en udfordring med at finde den rette solcreme for dit barn, så jeg vil forsøge at hjælpe dig :).
Det du skal passe på med når du køber solcreme til børn, er at de ikke må indeholde parfume. Parfumen kan være med til at give dem en reaktion eller allergi. Noget andet er, de må ikke indeholde hormonforstyrrende ingredienser (bla. methyparaben, propylparaben). Hormonforstyrrende stoffer kan være med til at provokere for tidlig pubertet, kræft og andre ikke behagelig oplevelser.  
Sidst men ikke mindst, undgå solcreme på spray! Solcreme på spray indeholder aerosoler. Det er små partikler i luften som kommer ned til vores lunger. Hvem har lyst til det?
Her er der nogle af de solcremer som jeg selv fortrækker, og er fri for alt det ubehagelige.

As always, remember a hat, sunglasses and stay away from direct sun between 12-15pm.

New Week - Start Easy

Good morning!
First week in July which means a lot of you might be spending your Summer holiday, alone or with family, it can be stressful sometimes espicially with family .
Here is what I love to do:
I love to wake up 30mins-1h before the rest of the family. Simply starting my day easy, and I feel less stressed during the day. The days when I wake up with the rest of the family I tend to feel a bit of stress.
Tip: Don't start cleaning and all that jazz, focus on yourself. Start easy with whatever you love to do in the morning, going for a run/jog, a facial, mani/pedicure or grabbing a cup of tea. Just do whatever you want!
When the rest of your family wakes up, they wake up to a happy mommy/wife :) Isn't that great?

God morgen!
Første uge i juli, hvilket betyder at mange af jer holder sommerferie nu alene eller med familie. Det kan godt være lidt stressende, særligt når man har en familie.
Her er hvad jeg godt kan lide at gøre:
Jeg elsker at stå op 30min-1time før resten af familien. Starter min dag roligt og føler mig mindre stresset i løbet af dagen. 
Tip: Ikke starte med at gøre rent når du står op, fokusere på dig selv. Start roligt med hvad end du kan lide at lave om morgen. Om det er en løbetur, ansigtsmaske, mani/pedicure eller bare en kop te. Bare start dagen med det du kan lide!
Når resten af familien står op, så står de op til en glad mor/hustru/kæreste :) Er det ikke dejligt?

Sunday's

Good morning beauties!
It's another beautiful day here in Denmark. The sun is shining and the temperature is just perfect!
I hope you will have a wonderful day where ever you are :)
Enjoy the time you have. If you have kids plan something fun, and go outside.
If it was up to my son he could be outside all day long. Give the kids the oppertunity to go outside and play around. Be careful of the sun between 12-15 pm, and remember sunscreen (I will do a post about sunscreen for kids and adults in the coming week.)
Don't forget your self while taking care of your kids and family, have a moment just for you! Do whatever you want to!
Paint your nails, read a book, flip through a magazine or just soak up some sun :) Even if it's just for 10-15 mins. We tend to be so busy that we don't have to for ourselves or for the things we love. So don't forget to make time for that :).
